How it Works

Diagram of how outdoor furnaces work
  1. The round water jacket design means less cracking and allows for efficient heat transfer. Made of 409 Titanium Enhanced Stainless Steel.

  2. Fire Chamber cross tubes guarantee efficiency as water passes through on its way down ensuring more heat drawn from the fire box.

  3. The furnace supply pipe has holes so that water spilling covers the firebox length-wise and flows down eliminating hot and cold spots on the furnace.

  4. Shaker grates (MF Series) allow for easy firebox maintenance and clean-up. They are made of an alloy specifically designed for high temperatures and are guaranteed for 5 years.

  5. The furnace is insulated with R20 Insulation as well as double bubble foil insulation.

  6. Another feature of our ultra-efficient design, smoke must travel from the back of the furnace amongst the fire chamber cross-tubes while going to the front and then in to through the damper channel ensuring maximum heat draw and a slower burn, increasing fuel efficiency.

  7. The control panel consists of an Electronic temperature control (left), variable speed fan control (middle), water level marker (right) and furnace and light on/off switches (bottom).
